North Bethesda, MD is one of the most conveniently located areas of Montgomery County. Nestled in the triangle between Rockville, Potomac, and Bethesda, North Bethesda has immediate access to both I-270 and I-495, as well as several stops along the Metro’s Red Line.

Located in the triangle between the two limbs of I-270 and I-495, is a business district that includes the corporate headquarters of Lockheed Martin, Coventry Healthcare, Host Marriott, and Marriott International. The brand new headquarters for The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is also located in North Bethesda. Major shopping centers include Congressional Plaza, Mid-Pike Plaza, Montrose Crossing, Federal Plaza, White Flint Mall, Wintergreen Plaza, and the area’s busiest and most popular shopping, Montgomery Mall.

Several prominent area schools in North Bethesda include Walter Johnson High School, the Georgetown Preparatory School, and the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School. Other popular centers in this area are the Music Center at Strathmore, the Kennedy-Shriver Aquatic Center, The Jewish Community Center, and North Bethesda Market, which features condos in the tallest building in Montgomery County.

Even further development of the area is underway, including North Bethesda Market II, which will feature even more retail space, a new 80-unit building that will likely be condos, and a 300-foot residential tower with a very striking design and exceptional views.
